How to set a background image in LibreOffice Writer 


To set the page background image following bellow step 

  1. click on format  menu
  2. choose page options 
  3. In the dialog that appears, select the tab Area 
  4. now click Bitmap button 
  5. click on add/import 
  6. now click on apply or click ok button
